In the integrations tab, in the primary panel; select shipping carrier management from the secondary panel on the left hand side after you log in to your OMS account.
Go to ‘carrier rules’ from the header, All the existing carrier rules will then be visible to the user.
Click on ‘add carrier rules’ from the top right corner to set new rules and add the name of the rule.
For setting a rule based on county, postal code, storage type and SKU, the user can go to the bulk actions tab and download the relevant excel file format
Fill in the country name in column A and B or if you want to group multiple countries then use the group name in column A and the full name of countries to be added in the group.
After filling the relevant fields in the excel file, the user can upload the file using the bulk activities button on the top right corner.
- The first column of bulk upload template for post code, SKU can be used for the grouping. If you do not wish to group then you can use the same value that you are adding in column B to A to appear in the condition dropdown.
- The uploaded file will appear in the bulk activities tab in the primary panel and it displays the errors in the uploaded file if any.
- Country code can be ISO
The user can select the rules and apply the conditions to assign the carriers.
Select the conditions to add the condition setting. Click again on the same condition to remove that from condition settings.
Select the sales channel and shipping method from the drop down menu.

- The shipping method present for the sales channel will appear in the dropdown so make sure the needed shipping methods are already created for the sales channel to select while creating/updating the carrier rules.
- The user cannot apply the same rule to two different shipping methods of the same sales channel.
Click on ‘add’ to apply the same rule to a different sales channel and shipping method.
Use the edit option on the main page to update or edit the rule.
Use the button with three dots on the far right corner of the selected rule to activate/deactivate an existing existing rule
If you have created multiple rules for a sales channel then use ‘Change Priority’ to re-set the priority of the rules created for the sales channel.
